ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
Immortalized by Santana at Woodstock and smashed onstage by Pete Townsend, the weapon of choice for AC/DC's Angus Young, and of course - with Black Sabbath's Tony Iommi being its most famous left-handed devotee, the Gibson SG is a rock icon.
This Epiphone SG Special VE model delivers that classic rock tone at an unbelievable price. It has the sound, no-frills looks and in-your-face tone that has made SGs popular rock guitars for decades. The poplar body gives it a fat tone reminiscent of the guitar’s far more expensive Gibson stablemates, and the classic double-cutaway design provides easy access to the guitar's entire rosewood-topped okoume neck. A pair of Ceramic-8 humbuckers gives you the warm punch and complex mid-range you want for earth-shaking power chords and blistering lead solos. Chrome hardware holds everything together and the Vintage Edition (VE) finish offers a road worn look and feel.
